Why should I give to this charity?

100% of every dollar donated goes directly to the need displayed on the site. There are no administrative fees, overhead fees, or any of the other many fees that plague some charities. All of the development, hosting, and ongoing support for this site have been donated.

Where does the money go?

When you click the Donate link on the website, you are redirected to PayPal. When you make your PayPal donation, it goes directly into the PayPal account of the charity. Giving100 has no involvement with the money donated. The charities are 501c3 corporations which takes us to the next question.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. Since your donation goes directly to the charity, and they are a 501c3 non-profit corporation, your donation is tax deductible.

Does it really make a difference?

Yes. The money is going to the actual need displayed. You don’t have to wonder how it will be used. Instead, you know from the beginning how your donation is being used.

What about PayPal fees?

Since we want 100% of your donation to go directly to the charity, we have a few donors that cover the PayPal fees. This allows all of your contribution to go directly to the specific need.
